We’re in the home stretch of Negroni Week all across the world. This global initiative to support causes near and dear to your local watering hole’s heart runs until Sunday, June 7.
Negroni variations happen all the time, but it’s unusual to find one that omits Campari. What is this drink without the it’s most typical ingredient?
Kylie Bartlett, bartender with Blacktail and Odd Society Spirits in Vancouver shares her version of the Negroni, sans Campari. Instead, the bitter flavours come from the distillery’s Bittersweet Vermouth, a contradictory blend that yields both the bitter and the sweet using 25 botanicals.
