Every year, Beakerhead features a restaurant week called Engineered Eats where Calgary restaurants are challenged to think up innovative, creative and outside-of-the-box dishes with a feature ingredient. This year’s ingredient is barley.
There are 24 dishes in total this year, with the majority coming to the barley table with a food dish. However four Calgary restaurants have also sought to help you whet your whistle with barley beverage offerings:
